Welcome to Colombo! Upon arrival, you will be warmly received by our representative and begin your journey to Dambulla. En route, visit the sacred Munishwaram Temple in Chilaw, believed to be linked to the legend of Lord Rama, followed by a stop at the Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama is said to have installed the first lingam. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and refresh yourself with a King Coconut drink, a tropical Sri Lankan specialty. On arrival in Dambulla, check in to your hotel and unwind. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Note: At 1300 hours, a group transfer will depart for Kandy. Our representative will assist all guests during this transition. Guests arriving after 12:00 PM or those who do not wish to wait can opt for a private transfer at an additional supplement. Please ensure that your flight lands by 12:00 PM, as immigration and exit procedures may take up to an hour.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a scenic drive to Trincomalee, a coastal city renowned for its rich history, sacred Hindu temples, and natural hot springs. Our sightseeing in Trincomalee includes a visit to the majestic Koneshwaram Temple, a revered Shiva temple and one of the five ancient Pancha Ishwarams. We will also visit the Shankari Devi Temple, considered one of the 18 Shakti Peethas, and the Kanniya Hot Springs, a series of natural thermal wells believed to have healing properties. Along the way, enjoy a relaxing lunch and refreshments including tea, coffee, and snacks. After the visit, we will return to Dambulla, where you can unwind for the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dambulla.

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, we depart for Kandy, the final capital of the ancient Sinhalese kingdom and a designated UNESCO World Heritage city. En route, we’ll visit Seetha Kotuwa, believed to be the site of Sita’s captivity during the Ramayana era, and the Gurulupotha Archaeological Site, featuring ancient ruins and a limestone cave tied to the same epic. Upon arrival in Kandy, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day city tour, including a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered religious sites. Optionally, you may attend a Kandy Cultural Show, showcasing traditional dance and music (subject to availability). Lunch, tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided en route. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Kandy.

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, we begin a scenic morning tour of Kandy, starting with the Upper Lake Drive, offering stunning views of the city and its surroundings. We'll then visit the Market Crafts Centre, known for authentic local handicrafts, and explore a Gem Museum to learn about Sri Lanka’s treasured gemstones. Next, we head to the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, an important Ramayana site steeped in legend. Before leaving Kandy, you’ll also get the chance to experience the tea-making process at a local tea factory, witnessing how world-famous Ceylon tea is produced. We then drive to Nuwara Eliya, affectionately known as “Little England” for its colonial charm, cool climate, and scenic beauty. Enjoy lunch, tea/coffee, and snacks en route. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Along the way, we visit several key Ramayana-linked sites, starting with the Gayathri Peedam, believed to be connected to Ravana’s son Meghanath. We continue to the Sita Amman Temple, where Sita is said to have stayed during her captivity, and then to the Hakgala Botanical Garden, thought to be the site of the mythical Ashok Vatika. Next, we stop at Divurumpola Temple, traditionally believed to be the place where Sita underwent her Agni Pariksha (trial by fire). We’ll also take in the natural beauty of Ravana Falls and explore the nearby Ravana Cave, both steeped in legend. Lunch, tea, coffee, and snacks will be enjoyed en route. Upon arrival in Kataragama, we will visit the Murugan Temple, a vibrant and active pilgrimage site. Later, check into your hotel in Yala or Kataragama, relax, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, we drive to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital known for its vibrant mix of colonial architecture, lively markets, and coastal charm. En route, we visit several fascinating sites rooted in legend and history. Our first stop is Ussangoda, believed to be a landing site for Ravana’s Pushpak Vimana, followed by Rumasala, associated with the fallen piece of Dronagiri mountain carried by Hanuman. We then explore the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich with colonial-era structures and sea views. Continuing our spiritual journey, we visit Kelaniya Temple, said to be the coronation site of Vibhishana, and conclude with a visit to the Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple, the only temple in Sri Lanka dedicated to the five-faced form of Hanuman. Along the way, enjoy lunch, tea, coffee, and snacks. Upon arrival in Colombo, check in to your hotel, relax, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, we begin with a drive through Colombo city attractions, followed by 1 hour of shopping. Our exploration takes us through Colombo’s vibrant commercial areas, tree-lined residential neighborhoods, and historical landmarks. We’ll visit Cinnamon Gardens, the Fort (former British administrative center), Sea Street (the Goldsmiths’ quarter in Pettah), and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal, dating back to 1749. We will also stop by the BMICH, see the replica of the Avukana Buddha, and visit Independence Square. After the city tour, we’ll have time to explore Colombo’s shopping hubs. Visit popular destinations like Galle Face Green, a 5-hectare beach strip attracting locals and tourists alike, and shopping centers such as Cotton Collection, House of Fashion, and Odel. You can also explore Beverly Street, Pettah Bazaar, and Noritake Showroom, as well as Barefoot, Laksala, One Galle Face, and Colombo City Center for stylish clothes, souvenirs, and elegant Sri Lankan items. Later, we will head to the airport for your departure flight, filled with wonderful memories of your time on this beautiful island. Traveling time to the airport is approximately 1 hour.
