Payment Structure

To confirm your booking with SCG Holidays, the following payment structure will apply:

1. Initial Booking Payment

• Advance Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 25 % of the total tour/service cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
• The remaining balance must be paid as per the timeline outlined below.

2. Balance Payment

• Full Payment: The remaining balance of 70-80% of the total tour/service cost must be settled 40 days before the tour's start date.
• For bookings made within 40 days of travel: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

3. Mode of Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank Transfer
• UPI Payment
• Credit/Debit Cards
• Cash (only at authorized locations)
• Online Payment Portal

4. Payment Confirmation

• Once the payment is received, a payment receipt and tour confirmation voucher will be sent to you via email or other preferred communication methods.
• If payment is made through bank transfer, please send a screenshot or transaction details to confirm receipt of payment.

5. Late Payment

• If the balance payment is not made within the specified time (30 days before travel), SCG Holidays reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the corresponding cancellation fees as per our Cancellation Policy.

6. Currency and Taxes

• All payments must be made in INR unless otherwise specified.
• GST or any other applicable taxes will be added to the tour/service cost, as required by Indian law.

 Promotional or Discount Offers

1. Full Payment Upfront

   • For bookings made under promotional or discounted offers, full payment must be made upfront at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
   • No installments or part payments will be accepted for these offers.

2. Cancellation Conditions

   • Cancellation terms for bookings made under promotional or discounted offers may differ from the standard cancellation policy.
   • Specific cancellation policies, including fees and refund timelines, will be clearly communicated at the time of booking and may vary depending on the promotion or discount applied.

3. Changes or Modifications

   • Requests for changes or modifications to bookings made under promotional offers may not be allowed or may incur additional fees.

   • SCG Holidays is not responsible for any discrepancies or issues that arise from payments made outside of the officially authorized payment channels.
   • Customers are advised to ensure that they use the designated payment methods to avoid any complications regarding their booking.

1. Health Documents (for Travel)

   • Medical Fitness Certificate: For customers with pre-existing health conditions or elderly travelers, a Medical Fitness Certificate may be required from a certified doctor, ensuring that the traveler is fit for the planned trip, especially for physically demanding tours.
   • Vaccination Records: For international travel or certain destinations, proof of vaccination (e.g., yellow fever, COVID-19, etc.) may be necessary. Customers should check vaccination requirements specific to their travel destination.
   • Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is highly recommended for both domestic and international tours. It should cover medical emergencies, hospitalizations, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and other unforeseen situations. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain and carry a valid insurance policy.

2. Travel Documents for International Travel

3. Documents for Domestic Travel

   • Government-issued ID Proof: For all domestic travel, travelers must carry a valid government-issued ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport.
   • Travel Tickets: For travel involving flights, trains, or buses, travelers should carry their tickets or e-ticket confirmations.
   • Hotel Booking Confirmations: Printed or digital copies of hotel reservations or accommodation details should be kept handy during the tour.

4. COVID-19 and Other Health-related Travel Documentation (If Applicable)

   • Negative COVID-19 Test Report: Depending on the travel destination or current health regulations, a negative PCR test result taken within a specific time frame (usually 72 hours) before departure may be required.
